Developing the Gene Pool

Most gene groups have gone through ages of selective breeding and bioengineering. These concepts have been around for thousands of years. The strongest humans will breed the strongest offspring, and the smartest will have even smarter kids. However, there are issues in human development when selecting for specific traits only. There has to be some variety for the gene pool to remain viable and healthy for a prolonged period of time.

Each human has 46 chromosomes and inherits 23 from each parent. That means that collectively, a 1 child household has only passed down 1/2 of its genes but other people in the gene group may have similar genes. In a 2 child household, theoretically, a human may have passed down all 46 chromosomes, 23 from each parent, but what about the grandparents. This is what family planning normally looks like in developed nations. Humans also discard genes that are no longer beneficial to human survival and may be why certain behaviors are addressed through militaries and penal colonies.

In civilian areas, criminal justice, fines, and economic detention addresses some of the same issues with creating an expression against certain behaviors.

Selective breeding and bioengineering are different than eugenics programs. That is, forced impregnation of other humans that were selected by the government. The government accomplishes this goal through housing programs, detention, criminal justice, prolonged education programs, and penalties for sexual expression.

In some eugenics programs the humans are fully aware of their lack of choice in a mate but are overpowered by their natural urges and desire to start a family. Other humans may be oblivious to their environment or condition and don't understand that they have a lack of selection in offspring.

Selective Breeding Programs

Few humans select a mate completely randomly from their environment. There are parameters that indicate someone has certain gene expression like health, stamina, laziness, processing skills, economic desires, or intelligence. Out of several million people to chose from, they may narrow down their selection by school program, work program, family program, travel program, economics, freedom, or independence. For example, they may want someone that is the same religion as them and their family, has gone to college and completed the program, and likes to travel. While there is some variability to the selection process, there is a lot selection and choice. There final list of viable candidates may be less than 100 people, its possible they may all say no. Its also possible that more than 10-15 people would consider them a viable date and they may need to let the computer narrow it down further or to become more specific in likes and desires, annoyances and dislikes.

A different person may pick non-religious, likes to travel, economically stable, and works part time or intermittently. Some may pick independence, freedom, family and work, or work, school, family, and freedom. It will vary and potential partners have to match on multiple selection criteria, consent to dating, pass the gene pool analysis and genetic merging simulations, then they have to agree to and consent to starting a family. Even if they stop at any point in this process, they have additional criteria to make decisions on future dates. While there are a lot of people with low level sex drives and even never sexually active, few people will be starting families with the first person they have sex with. Many people however, will not be breaking relationship agreements nor will they continue looking for dates after they've found someone. They may break up and start looking again afterward.

Sex is a big part of dating so even if someone is not having sex with every date they meet, sexual compatibility is important for various themes. This includes role play, fantasy, time periods in between arousal, and expectations in the bedroom if people are going to get together. Even people who have never had sexual intercourse talk about perceptions of sex while dating and that becomes part of their decision making process when selecting to go on another date or to select another partner.

For those making it all the way to the family planning process, there are over 2000 ways that 46 genes from each parents can combine and a couple would need to have over 35 kids before the genes begin to duplicate. Some of the chromosomes are duplicates already so that may lower the amount of unique combinations when starting a family. Parents and siblings are rarely examined during these processes and most people spread out once the kids are adults, many of them moving to different areas before settling down. The hereditary genes are also not the only thing that affects gene expression. Many gene expression is caused by food, environment, access to relationships, and activities such as academics or work.

For these reasons, gene expression is examined independently and not as a family group. Most places first determine if a person has a desirable or undesirable gene expression for their dating area and the requirements aren't necessarily disclosed. Most daters don't want to know the specifications, they receive a pass/fail or yes/no to date in the area. The exam normally consists of a blood test with gene expression simulation, an std test, cognitive test, and physical exam for measurements, movement, stamina and strength. There may be a short interview on sexual preferences and arousal activity which can mostly be viewed in the gene simulations.

Sponsoring Families

Most people will not have the estimated $10k to $15k maternity fees plus the estimated $250k needed to raise a child from 0 to 18. Having a baby is a big financial decision and choosing the correct location to birth them is just as important. Most people of breeding age consider this a sponsorship, regardless of whether they are on government programs or not. Someone will need to be aware of the estimated number of children in the area and make sure their toys, formulas, diapers, blankets, and bottles are available for purchase at some of the stores.

The government may need to be aware of some of their work and allow zoning or resources for their children to have a same or similar lifestyle once they become adolescents. If the economy changes, they may need to live in their own apartment as teenagers in order for the family to stay together or they may need access to hotel rooms and temporary accommodations of up to 180 days.

People don't often have kids spur of the moment and don't even date that way. With offline social networks being as big as several million single people that are all connected to the same group somehow, an evening date with someone new may be less random than thought of by an observer.

Most people will be screened on whether they can be in a dating area and there is a lot of privacy rights in determining the origins of certain gene expressions.

When the government has availability to start new families, there is a notification for people to fill out applications or be screened for a program. Normally existing couples and new immigrants will respond first but occasionally single people get nominated to try and find a date before the program closes.

This helps with overpopulation since most single people in the western hemisphere and parts of asia have elected to not have children in order to help with the overpopulation problem.

Long Term Planning

Those that are agreeing to start families have several requirements before their children turn 18-20 years old.

  • Finish a HS diploma, online homeschool is acceptable
  • Teach them about financial literacy and stability
  • Have them socialize in their communities
  • Teach them about travel and exploration

Many families have expressed that they would want their home to be more scientific, less dependent on computers, and have more accessibility to outdoor activities. With weather changes in human environments, there is an agreement that work from home, indoor activities, and occasional outings would be acceptable.

These are all policies that are expected to be successful over the next 25 to 30 years since most people do not want to have children only to have them suffer after the age of 20.

Most policy planners are focusing on creating better environments for 20 to 50 year olds, working adults, and for modern families that may not want to stay home and work 40 hours per week until they are 85 years old.
